OUR STORY

OFG was formed in 2007 to provide services and expertise for the seafloor minerals industry. Since then, we have expanded our offerings to address subsea surveying challenges across a range of markets including the renewables, oil and gas, defense and minerals sectors. We bring together expert teams of engineers and geoscientists to design, integrate and operationalize complex sensor systems deployed from AUVs, ROVs, USVs, ROTVs, towfish, and surface vessels. We collect rich multiphysics datasets and interpret these to meet and exceed survey objectives in an efficient and safe manner, with minimal environmental impact.

OUR MISSION

To solve our clients’ most complex subsea exploration, development and maintenance challenges using innovative technology designed to meet and exceed objectives in an environmentally sensitive manner.

OUR VALUES

People
We attract talented & imaginative experts and foster a culture of interdisciplinary collaboration so that we can solve your most complex challenges.

Transparency
Employees, clients and collaborators know that we will work with them to meet project objectives in a safe working environment, with results delivered on time through open lines of communication.

Solutions
We take the time to understand what you need and then develop a plan to meet your goals as efficiently and effectively as possible.

SAFETY & SUSTAINABILITY

At OFG, we prioritise safety and environmental protection while conducting business. Currently, we are working towards reducing the ecological impact of our work and ensuring the safety of our team in the following ways:

Building infrastructure for remote support
Supporting surveys from shore reduces exposure hours for our offshore team members, necessitates smaller crews and results in less travel time and risk.

Capitalizing on the benefits of uncrewed & autonomous platforms
Conducting surveys with autonomous platforms creates efficiencies on many levels. Our non-contact AUV/ROV integrated Cathodic Protection (iCP) technology, for example, requires less vessel time, which produces fewer emissions during projects.

Taking care of our people
We look after our team and collaborators and prioritize their safety wherever they are and wherever they go.
